Carway International 6-a-side Tournament
~~~~CANCELLED~~~~
In a shocking turn of events on Wednesday 18.07.07 the International 6-a-side Tournament held at Carway's state of the art playing fields has been cancelled. This has caused distress and anger not only in the heartlands of Wales but throughout the globe. Teams from South America, Asia and Europe have all had to cancel flights to Carway and also the hotels that have been prebooked. A Carway spokesman has told of the impact this has had on the local community "This is a disaster for our transport sector and the hotel industry, only this morning F.C. Santos cancelled their hotel and fleet of coaches from 'Dai Bros buses'; earlier in the week Egyptian side Zamalek brought their Welsh holiday to end as they left on Wednesday furious with the decision by the Carmarthenshire League's top brass. They have been in Carway for over a month acclimatising to the altitude and preparing for the tournament. Star player Hossam Hassan had this to say "We are very disappointed with the league's very narrow minded viewpoint, I could have been relaxing on the banks of the Nile, instead I have been working my b*lls off just for the chance of playing in this prestigious tournament and they tell me I've wasted my time. I will be considering a fatwa." A league spokesman David Bumface told us earlier "tough sh*t we are in charge, and it matters not how many hearts we break. We do not have compassion for anybody and we like to make ourselves seem important. This Tournament would have been a great idea and has a long history, but at the end of the day, what do we care." Whatever your viewpoint the will be no fun in Carway this Saturday, a bit like every other Saturday. It could have been so different. There is further disappointment to be had, as this web page was created to promote the tournament and now it just seems like a waste of time. Gutted.

Come one, come all. It's that time of year again where you have an opportunity to bring great fame to West End United. With over 32 top ranking teams competing from far and wide, the day promises to be a spectacle of flowing football.
West End are entering two magnificent teams with chic skills in abundance, as they look to walk away with the Tournament Trophy and two hundred big ones!. Do you want to be part of one of the glory? Do you want to participate in this exhibition of elegance?

If you want to strut your stuff against the big guns, prove your metal on the pitch or even flaunt your flair against the farmers. This is the place to do it.
The Tournament takes place on the 21st of July. That's the third Saturday in the month and it promises to be a jamboree of just simply ferocious football. Don't miss out!!!!!!!
The teams consist of 8 players each and it's £12.00 per team. If you would like to take part and have the images of your victorious selves on this page it's simple, and I might add painless. If your already a member just leave a comment at the bottom of this page and this will be posted as a list displaying the interest. If you're not a member, become a member.
