Presentation Dinner 06.05.2006This is a featured page

It was a lovely day in the middle of May for West End's first (and quite possibly last) Presentation Dinner at the entertainment capital that is the Selwyn Samuel Centre. Everything was in place for a night of unrivaled amusement, although this wasn't quite what the booked acts had expected. The two acts performing found West End United a particularly tough crowd, that weren't going to be won over easily by inadequate humour and lame deliveries, unfortunately for the acts these were the only skills they had packed for the trip. So it was unsurprising that the heckles lead by Patrick Butchers in the most part, seemed to rain on their parade.

Along with the death of performance comedy that night, there were also some awards to be handed out. The tension was (for want of a better word) electric. A full listings of all the winners and more stories to be posted soon. For the mean time enjoy the trip down memory lane with the images below bringing to life that magical day in May.

Member's of West End's youth policy were in attendance Robbie Williams being uncharacteristically polite

Apologies for the lack of a suitable lighting for some of these images. These are the only ones available at the moment, if you have any images from this night or indeed from any other 'West End experience' please send them through, just add a comment on the Discussion Board found underneath the Electricity club and someone will get back to you.
